The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) (http://www.sae.org) has a wide-ranging membership involved in a range of transportation activities.

Of particular interest to Savive and its clients are some of the standards developed by Society of Automotive Engineers, especially the following.

SAE ARP 4754 "Certification Considerations for Highly-Integrated or Complex Aircraft Systems"
SAE ARP 4761 "Guidelines and Methods for Conducting the Safety Assessment Process on Civil Airborne Systems and Equipment"
